Translation

Shall not sion say [this] man:/ and [that] man is born in her:/ and the highest himself founded her./ The lord will relate in the writings of the peoples:/ and of princes that have been in her./ Dwelling in you: in fact is all rejoicing./

Psalm 87
I am counted among those that descend into the deeps

LORD THE GOD/ of my salvation:/ I have cried /in the day and in the night before you./ Let my prayer enter in your sight:/ bend your ears/ to my prayer./ Because my soul is filled with evils:/ and my life has drawn near to hell./ I am counted among those that descend into the deeps:/ I am become like a man without help/ free among the dead./ Like the mortally wounded sleeping in the graves/

DOMINE D[EU]S / salutis me[a]e: / in die clamavi / et nocte cora[m] te. / Intret in conspectu / tuo oratio mea: / inclina aure[m] tua[m] / ad precum meam. / Quia repleta est malis anima mea: / et vita mea in inferno appropinquavit. / Estimatus su[m] cu[m] descendentib[us] in lacu[m]: / factus sum sicut homo sine adiutorio / inter mortuos liber. / Sicut vulnerati dormientes in sepulchris /
