Translation

The beauty of iacob which he loved./ God is ascended in joy: our lord in the voice of trumpet./ Sing to our lord sing:/ sing to our king sing./ Because god is king of all the earth: sing wisely./ God shall reign over the nations:/ god sits upon his holy seat./ Princes of peoples are gathered together with the god/ of abraham: because the strong gods of the earth are exceedingly/ made light of./


Psalm 47
Great is the lord

GREAT IS THE LORD/ and to be praised exceedingly:/ in the city of our god/ in his holy hill./ mount sion is founded with the exal/tation of the whole earth on the sides of the north the city/ of the great king./ God shall be known in the houses: thereof when he shall receive it./

Speciem iacob quem dilexit. / Ascendit d[eu]s in iubilo: d[omi]n[u]s invoce tub[a]e. / Psallite deo n[ost]ro psallite: / psallite regi n[ost]ro psallite. / Q[uonia]m rex om[n]is t[er]r[a]e d[eu]s: psallite sapienter. / Regnavit d[eu]s super gentes: / deus sedet sup[er] sedem s[an]c[t]am suam. / Principes pop[u]lor[um] congregati sunt eu[m] deo / abraham: q[uonia]m dii fortes terr[a]e vehementer / elevati sunt. /
