TranslationPsalm 106He gathered them out of the territories ACKNOWLEDGE/ the lord because he is good:/ because his mercy is forever./ Let those who are redeemed say [so] of the lord: those whom he redeemed/ out of the hand of the enemy:/ he gathered them out of the territories./ From the rising and the setting of the sun:/ from the north and the sea./ They wandered in a wilderness in a waterless place:/ they did not find not the way to a city for dwelling in./ Hungry and thirsty:/ their soul fainted in them./ And they cried to the lord when they were troubled:/ and he rescued them from their sufferings./ And he led them into the right way: that they might go to a city for dwelling in./ Let the mercies of the lord acknowledge him:/ and his marvellous works to the children of men./ Because he has filled the empty soul:/ |
