TranslationAs in irritation:/ according to the day of the temptation in the desert./ Where your fathers tempted me:/ tested me and saw my works./ I was offended for forty years with that/ generation: and I said these always err in heart./ And they have not known my ways:/ so I swore in my anger if only they shall enter into my rest./Psalm 95 Sing to the lord a new song SING TO THE LORD/ a new song:/ sing to the lord all the earth./ Sing to the lord/ and bless his name:/ declare his salvation/ from day to day./ Declare his glory among the nations:/ his marvellous works among all peoples./ Because the lord is great and exceedingly worthy of praise:/ he is to be feared above all gods./ |
