Psalm: 30
Iconography: The psalmist, with his feet in a mesh of interlace, lifts up his hands in a gesture of offering. Christ leans his head over to listen and reaches down to lift David up. Bend your ear to me... You will raise me up from this snare.. Into your hands I entrust my spirit...you have looked back at my lowliness.
Art: The large initial I extends into the space alloted to the small capital O (bottom left). Scratches and traces of erasure indicate the O was moved to the left after the initial I was painted. The finial on David's crown remains unpainted
