Translation

and from the hand of all those who hate us./ To perform mercy with our fathers: and to remember his holy testament./ The oath that he swore to our father abraham that he would grant to us on being delivered from the hand of our enemies: we may serve him./ In holiness and justice in his presence: all of our days./ And you child shall be called the prophet of the highest: for you shall go before the face of the lord to prepare his ways./ To give knowledge of salvation to his people: in remission of their sins./ Through the heart of the mercy of our god: in which he has visited us./ The morning from on high./ To enlighten those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death: to direct our feet in the way of peace./

et de manu om[n]iu[m] qui oderunt nos./ Ad facienda[m] mis[eri]c[or]dia[m] cu[m] patrib[us] n[ost]ris: et memorari testamenti sui s[an]c[t]i./ Iusiurandu[m] q[u]od iurauit ad abraha[m] patre[m] n[ost]r[u]m daturum se nobis./ Vt sine timore de manu inimicor[um] n[ost]ror[um] liberati: serviam[us] illi./ In s[an]c[t]itate et iustitia cora[m] ipso: om[n]ib[us] dieb[us] n[ost]ris./ Et tu puer p[ro]pheta altissimi uocaberis: pr[a]eibis eni[m] ante faciem d[omi]ni parare uias ei[us]./ Ad danda[m] scientia[m] salutis plebi ei[us]: in remissione[m] peccator[um] eor[um]./ Per uiscera mis[eri]c[or]di[a]e d[e]i n[ost]ri: in q[u]ib[us] uisitauit nos./ oriens ex alto./ Illuminare his q[u]i in tenebris et in umbra mortis sedent: ad dirigendos pedes n[ost]ros in uia[m] pacis./
