Translationthey planned deceit./ And they opened their mouth wide against me :/ they said bravo bravo our eyes have seen./ You have seen lord keep not silence: lord depart not from me./ Arise and turn to my judgement:/ my god and my lord to my cause./ Judge me according to your justice lord my god:/ and let them not rejoice over me./ Let them not say in their hearts bravo bravo to our/ soul: neither let them say we have devoured him./ Let them blush and stand in awe together:/ who rejoice in my evils./ Let them be clothed in confusion and awe:/ who speak unkind things against me./ Let them rejoice and be glad who are pleased with my justice:/ and let them say always the lord be magnified: who delights in the peace of his servants./ And my tongue shall contemplate your justice:/ your praise all day long./ |
