Translation

But I am a beggar and poor:/ the lord is careful of me./ You are my helper and my protector:/ my god be not slow./


Psalm 40
Blessed is he that understands

BLESSED IS HE/ understands concerning/ the needy and the poor:/ the lord will deliv/er him in the evil day./The lord preserve/ him and give him life:/ and make him blessed/ in the land: and/ surrender him not/ unto the will/ of his enemies./ Lord help him on his bed of sorrow:/ you have turned all his couch in his sickness./ I said lord be merciful to me:/ heal my soul because I have sinned to you/

Ego autem mendicus sum et pauper: / dominus sollicitus est mei. / Adiutor meus et protector m[eu]s tues: / d[eu]s m[eu]s ne tardaveris. /
Beatus q[u]i intellegit
BEAT[US] QUI / intelligit super / egenu[m] et paup[er]em: / indie mala lib[er]a/bit eum d[omi]n[u]s. / D[omi]n[u]s conservet / eu[m] et vivificet eu[m]: / et beatu[m] faciat / eum interra: et / et n[on] tradat eu[m] / in animam / inimicor[um] eius. / D[omi]ne ope[m] ferat illi sup[er] lectum doloris eius: / universu[m] stratu[m] ei[us] versasti in infirmitate ei[us]. / Ego dixi d[omi]ne miserere mei: / sana anima[m] mea[m] quia peccavi tibi /
