Psalm: 65
Iconography: God lifts the man by his arms from the dangers of a snare or fire (the red/brown patch) and water into the cool blue of heaven. You have brought us into a snare..We have passed through fire and water and you have brought us out into refreshment.
Art: The brown paint next to the water conceals drawing around the man's foot. It appears to represent a snare wrapped aound his toe. Part of this can just be seen spilling over the edge of the initial into the clear parchment on the right. With backlighting, three fish are visible drawn in the water at the base of the initial. Complex green folds of God's and the man's robe have been painted over.
